2025 'Boo-Hoo, Amiright?'

CA$36.00

Type: White

Varieties: Chardonnay

Origin: Naramata

Farmed organically and by hand at Homestead Vineyard solely by my wife Bree on the Naramata Bench. The soil consists of mostly sandy loam, and glacial gravel deposits. Bree managed the entire vineyard with nothing but her two hands, a weed whacker and a backpack sprayer.

The goal here was to keep it all very simple and allow the season to do the talking. The fruit was whole cluster pressed into neutral oak where the juice went through a natural primary and secondary fermentation. Post fermentation we added 25ppm of sulphur and let the wine rest on gross lees for 8 months. The wine was then racked off of gross lees and bottled by hand without any fining or filtration.

Nose - pear blossom, lemon rind, fresh white lilac

Palate - salted citrus, cool granite, beeswax, lemon meringue, fresh lime zest

This wine will only get better with age, recommended cellar time 2-6 years. Also incredibly delicious, fresh and thirst quenching right away.

We only made a couple of barrels of this wine so quantities are extremely limited.
