Varietals: Pinot Noir, Empress Plums
Origin: Windy Ridge Vineyard, Kaleden, Okanagan Valley. Maverick Vineyard, Oliver, Okanagan Valley. Twisted Hills, Cawston, Silmikameen Valley.
All organics grapes and plums were hand harvested. The Empress Plums were direct pressed and fermented naturally in neutral barrels. The Maverick Pinot Noir was destemmed, left to soak overnight then pressed into stainless steel where it fermented spontaneously. The Windy Ridge Pinot Noir was direct pressed into stainless steel and the plums were direct pressed and fermented naturally in neutral oak. All components were blended together with an addition of 30ppm of sulphur. The wine was bottled by hand unfined and unfiltered.
On the nose, POM cranberry, blood orange rind, grilled salted peach. On the palate, watermelon jolly ranchers, rhubarb danish, orange granita. Your go to rosé for the Summer and Fall!
