Flaming June 2019

CA$24.00
sold out

Type: Orange
Varietals: Viognier
Origin: Malhi Farms, Golden Mile Bench, Okanagan Valley

The southerly aspect at this site provides a warm climate, but being on the western slope of the valley, the lack of afternoon sun and abundance of morning sun make for a slightly cooler growing area. Combined with well-drained fluvial fans of stony gravel and sandy loam, the grapes are able to slowly ripen, and better retain acidity. Natural primary fermentation, full malolactic fermentation, fermented on skins and stems for 14 days, basket pressed; aged for 8 months in neutral oak, followed by 1 month in stainless steel, bottled unfined and unfiltered May 2020.

Limit of 6 bottles per wine
Minimum order of 3 bottles total to ship
