Type: Rosé
Varietals: 100% Cabernet Franc
Origin: Sage Brush Vineyard, Black Sage Bench, Okanagan Valley

Grown on Sagebrush Vineyard, nestled up against the mountains on the southeast side of Black Sage Rd. Deep sand with a wide gravel bar that runs down the hillside to the bottom of the sloping vineyard. Planted in 2004. This vineyard has been in organic transition for 4 years now, with a focus on soil regeneration and building organic matter. Hand harvested on September 13th. The fruit was whole-bunch direct pressed to stainless steel, where it fermented with ambient yeasts over the course of 2 months. The wine was then racked to neutral barrels and puncheons with full solids. It went through natural malolactic in barrel and rested on full lees for 6 months before bottling unfined and filter.
